The 2026 Cheverly Day Music Schedule:
12PM: Lunch and Music in the Park with DJ Dylan
1:00pm-2:00pm Mike Mallick, Smooth. Soul. Rock.

“I just want to bring smiles to people’s faces with my music.”
Mike’s passion for music started at an early age — his earliest memories hanging out in smoky country bars and county fairs, watching his dad tear it up on the drums.
A native of the Rockville/Gaithersburg area of Maryland, Mike started his musical journey as a rock and go-go drummer for high-school bands. When he discovered he could sing, he picked up a guitar and found his soul was in songwriting and performing inspirational, uplifting music.
The old-school influence is unmistakable to anyone who’s seen him perform. He carries it forward with warmth, soul, and genuine gratitude.
2:30-3:45 Seth Kibel, Swing from the 30’s and 40’s

Seth Kibel Quintet — Fronted by woodwind wizard Seth Kibel and featuring the vocals of Flo Anito, the Seth Kibel Quintet will delight with a program of uptempo jazz and swing, with a distinct emphasis on the “Great American Songbook.” Think the brothers Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, and more. A touch of blues and klezmer (Eastern European Jewish folk music) will add variety to their lively set.
