Cheverly Day is a celebration of fun, community spirit, and togetherness. Unfortunately, in light of the current events, it is the togetherness that poses a problem.
We are sad that we will not be able to celebrate Cheverly Day this year.
We are designing a special Cheverly Day 2020 t-shirt which we will sell throughout the rest of the year.
The Cheverly Day Team will continue to meet, virtually, as we plan for the celebration of Cheverly’s 90th Anniversary. Cheverly Day 2021 will take place on May 15, starting with a parade and ending with fireworks. Start your parade planning with your family, friends, neighbors, and/or groups now. We hope to make it one for the record books.
To show our support, and so you don’t forget about us, the Cheverly Day Team will be volunteering around town at events and fundraisers sponsored by other community organizations. If you see one of us in our red t-shirt, let us know if you have an idea that you would like to help bring to life for our anniversary celebration in 2021.
